29 CFR 1910.37(a)(4): Safeguard(s) designed to protect employees during an emergency (e.g., sprinkler systems, alarm systems, fire doors, exit lighting), were not in proper working order at all times  (a)  Building 794, Outdoor Recreation:  On or about 14 November 2017 and at times prior thereto, the emergency exit lights were found to be inoperative.  Light was in the main/south entrance. This condition exposed employees to smoke-inhalation injuries from delay in accessing the egress.  (b)  Building 794, Outdoor Recreation:  On or about 14 November 2017 and at times prior thereto, the emergency exit lights were found to be inoperative.  Exit lights were at the north entrance of the facility.  This condition exposed employees to smoke-inhalation injuries from delay in accessing the egress.  (c)  Building 726, Quartermaster Laundry:  On or about 14 November 2017, and times prior thereto, four emergency exit lights were found to be inoperative.  This condition exposed employees to smoke-inhalation injuries from delay in accessing the egress.  (d)  Building 755, Polar Express, Wood Skills section:  On or about 14 November 2017, and times prior thereto, the north wall emergency exit lights were found to be inoperative.  This condition exposed employees to smoke-inhalation injuries from delay in accessing the egress.  (e)  Building 755, Polar Express, Wood Skills section:  On or about 14 November 2017, and times prior thereto, the west wall emergency exit lights were found to be inoperative.  This condition exposed employees to smoke-inhalation injuries from delay in accessing the egress.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): Each exit was not clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit"  Outdoor Recreation, Bldg. 794: On or about 14 November 2017 and times prior thereto, the "Exit" sign not posted.  This exposed employees to delays in exiting the building causing smoke inhalation and fire hazards.
