29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.     On or about November 16, 2017, two employees were not protected from a fall while engaged in roofing operations at a commercial property, exposing the employees to a fall of 14.6 feet.     Funderburk Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 762401 citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 26, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 3443 W. Addison Chicago, IL 60618.    Funderburk Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314038076, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 2, 2010, with respect to a worksite located at 2190 Randall Road, Carpentersville, Illinois.    Funderburk Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312728397, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on August 21, 2009, with respect to a worksite located at 415 Belden Ave., Addison, Illinois.      Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
