29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge: a) Worksite was located at 107 Mountain Road, Jersey City, NJ 07307 Employees were exposed to fall hazards as they were using staircases spanning a floor to ceiling height of 9 feet that consisted of approximately 16 risers and did not have hand rails to protect them from falling. Violation was observed on or about November 16th, 2017.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(12): Unprotected sides and edges of stairway landings were not provided with guardrail systems that meet the criteria contained in Subpart M of 29 CFR 1926: a) Worksite was located at 107 Mountain Road, Jersey City, NJ 07307 Employees were exposed to fall hazards as they were using staircases spanning a floor to ceiling height of 9 feet that consisted of approximately 16 risers and did not have guardrails installed at the landings to protect employees from falling. Violation was observed on or about November 16th, 2017.
