29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation: MSC Service Shop - Machine guarding on the Cincinnati Shear was not adequate to protect the operator from the crushing hazards created by the hold down devices because the employer had not developed, documented, implemented, and provided training in adequate safe operating procedures for use of the awareness barrier guard.
