29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(b) or (c): a) Alleghany Road and Church Street - On or about 11/20/17, a laborer was working in an excavation while boring for a new water line. The excavation was approximately 8'2" deep with near vertical walls and not protected from cave-ins. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
