29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut.       a)Workshop Area: The circular handfed ripsaw was not not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood that completely enclosed the portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut. An employee came into contact with an unguarded blade resulting in an amputation, on or about 10/19/17.         NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
