29 CFR 1910.28(b)(11)(ii): Each flight of stairs having at least 3 treads and at least 4 risers was not equipped with stair rail systems and handrails as follows: a. On or about November 27, 2017, on the ground floor south side, eight open stairways with 6 risers each leading to the workroom floor was not provided with a stair rail on both sides of the stairs thereby exposing employees to a fall hazard. b. On or about November 27, 2017, on the ground floor north side, eight open stairways with 6 risers each leading to the workroom floor was not provided with a stair rail on both sides of the stairs thereby exposing employees to a fall hazard. c. On or about November 27, 2017, on the ground floor west side, one open stairway with 6 risers leading to the workroom floor was not provided with a stair rail on both sides of the stairs thereby exposing employees to a fall hazard.
