29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Jobsite, 172 Franklin Avenue, Vandergrift, PA 15690: On or before November 22, 2017, employees were working unprotected and exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet 2 inches while installing new roof trusses. Abe Byler Dba Abe Byler Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1090600, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7-25-16, with respect to a workplace located at 1189 Route 356, Leechburg, PA 15656.

29 CFR 1926.503(c): The employer did not retrain affected employees who already had been trained but demonstrated inadequate understanding and skill required by paragraph (a) of this section: a) Jobsite, 172 Franklin Avenue, Vandergrift, PA 15690: On or before November 22, 2017, the employer did not provide training to employees engaged in elevated work that would allow the employees to recognize the hazards and use protective measures while working. Abe Byler Dba Abe Byler Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(c) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1090600, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 7-25-16, with respect to a workplace located at 1189 Route 356, Leechburg, PA 15656.
