On or about November 27, 2017, on top of a structure, an employee performing framing operations by use of a pneumatic nail gun was not wearing safety glasses, exposing himself to being hit by nails or flying debris.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    a. On or about November 27, 2017, in the front of the structure, on the leading edge, an employee performing framing operations was not protected from a 21-foot exterior fall hazard by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or any alternative fall protection.     b. On or about November 28, 2017, in the interior of the structure, an employee working on the 2nd level performing framing operations was not protected from a 10-foot fall hazard by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or any alternative fall protection.
