29 CFR 1910.111(b)(9)(ix): A hydrostatic relief valve was not installed between each pair of valves in the liquid ammonia piping or hose where liquid could be trapped so as to relieve into the atmosphere at a safe location: a) Ammonium thiosulfate building - On or about 3/21/2018, the five Rego hydrostatic relief valves (one at the top of the Gassing tank, two at the top of Digest tank #1, and two at the top of Digest tank #2) have been installed in the anhydrous ammonia pipeline and release inside the building. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.
