29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about November 13, 2017; Second floor area of new residential construction; employees were not wearing fall protection exposing them to a 16-20 foot fall to ground level while working off the open platform of the residential home. b) On or about November 13, 2017; Front area of new residential construction; employees were walking or working near an opening, 10-foot to lower level, that was not covered or railed. No abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
