Except as otherwise provided in paragraph (b) of this section, employees were engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination. a) Carlton Way (Carlton Hollow Apartments), Milton NY 12547 - On or about 11/28/2017, employees were engaged in roofing and framing activities on top of a low slope roof and was exposed to fall hazards because the employees were wearing harness, but was not anchored to a restraint or arrest system.
