29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:               a) On or about November 30, 2017, employees were exposed to eye injury while operating pneumatic nail guns without the benefit of eye protection.              In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):                 a) On or about November 30, 2017, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 22 feet while performing carpentry work from an upper level of the building without the use of fall protection.     b) On or about November 30, 2017, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 9 feet while walking and working on a second story deck where fall protection was not provided at an open sided floor adjacent to a stairway.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.

No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
