29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles: (a) Core Contractors at 4122 Vallejo St. Denver, CO 80211: On or before 12/1/17 the controlling employer did not protect subcontractor employees from injury in that eye protection was not provided or required when operating pneumatic nail guns while shingling a single family home. This condition exposed subcontractor employees to eye injuries resulting from flying particles.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Core Contractors at 4122 Vallejo St. Denver, CO 80211: On or before 12/1/2017 the controlling employer did not protect subcontractor employees from injury in that fall protection was not worn by roofers engaged in shingling a two-story single family home with a 9/12 roof pitch. This condition exposed subcontractor employees to a fall hazard of 10 and 20 feet.
