29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers or other persons adjacent to the welding areas were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields or required to wear appropriate goggles. CSAQ Corporation dba Bosal Industries of GA in Lavonia GA: Employees were permitted to work near and around welding operations without proper protection to prevent arc flash burns. Welding areas were missing protective panel screens exposing employees in adjacent work areas and employees in walk ways to arc flash on or about 12/4/17.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard that the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area. Information and training was not designed to cover all applicable categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals: CSAQ Corporations dba Bosal Industries of GA in Lavonia GA: On or about 12/4/2017 the employer did not train temporary employees on the hazardous chemicals that they were working with at the initial assignment to their work area; hazardous chemicals included but were not limited to Stainless Steel and Black Coat, Aluminized (metal) type 1 and type 2, Cold Rolled Steel, Hot Rolled Steel, and Enameling Steel.
