This condition was observed on or about December 12, 2017.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6): Each exit sign was not illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source and be distinctive in color.  Electroluminescent signs that have a minimum luminance surface value of at least .06 footlamberts (0.21 cd/m2) are permitted:   a) 615 Industrial Park Drive, Lansdowne, PA 19050 - The exit sign above the main entrance, which was an electroluminescent type, was not internally lighted, thus exposing employees to fire hazards in the event of a power outage.  This condition was observed on or about December 12, 2017.

29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative:  a) 615 Industrial Park Drive, Lansdowne, PA 19050 - An employee was required to perform maintenance on multiple industrial laundry machines. The employer did not establish an energy control procedure and employee training, thus exposing employees to caught-in/between and electric shock/electrocution hazards.  This condition was observed on or about December 12, 2017.

This condition was observed on or about December 12, 2017.
