29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative: a. 1965 Statham Drive, Statham, GA (Shop Area) - Assembly Employees were exposed to unexpected energy start-up hazard. The employer did not develop and implement a lockout/tagout program, which consists of a energy control procedures for multi-energy machines that are being manufacture for the specification of the clients. Employees are required to perform activities such as assembly and adjusting, testing, lubricating, and changing out the parts and repairs on the machines, on or about 12/14/17.
