29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: Location: Production Room Instance A: Cord-and-plug connected equipment such as the Oshikiri Molder were not rendered safe by disconnecting the cord and having it under the exclusive control of the employee maintaining that equipment. Instance B: Hard wired equipment such as the Fritsch Laminator, the Capway oven and the Spiral dough mixers were not locked out prior to employees maintaining the equipment. Instance C: Written procedures had not been developed for the Capway oven. Instance D: Written procedures for the Fritsch Line did not include procedures for controlling pneumatic energy.
