29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii):   At the residential construction site located at 111 SE Briar Valley Blue Springs, MO 64064: Employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to injury/illness from dermal, ingestion, and inhalation hazards from exposure to hazardous chemicals.  The employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program to ensure that employees were aware of the hazards associated with the chemicals with which they work.  Hazardous chemicals used at the site included but were not limited to gasoline and adhesives.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  At the residential construction site located at 111 SE Briar Valley Blue Springs, MO 64064: Employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to injury/illness from dermal, ingestion, and inhalation hazards from exposure to hazardous chemicals.  Employees had not been provided with training or information regarding the hazardous chemicals with which they work.  Hazardous chemicals such as gasoline and adhesives were used at the residential construction site.

29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury:  At the residential construction site located at 111 SE Briar Valley Blue Springs, MO 64064: Employees engaged in residential roofing activities from a 4:12 pitch roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet from the eave of the residence to the ground below. Employees had not been provided training to recognize, evaluate, and control fall hazards.
