29 CFR 1910.243(c)(3): Abrasive wheels used on right angle head grinders were not provided with safety guard(s) having a maximum exposure angle of 180 degrees and located between the operator and wheel: On or about December 26, 2017, on the west side of the building, the employer was allowing employees to use Makita Grinders (Model number 367721A, 367761A, and 368764A) without having a guard attached, to cut , sand, and bevel edges of granite slabs. Natural Stone Design was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and health Standard [1910.243(c)(3) which was contained in OSHA inspection #1217579, citation 1 item 4 and was affirmed as a final order on date May 02, 2017 with respect to a workplace located at 1507 B St. Mary Street Scott, La. 70583
