OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a crushed by hazard from automotive lifts: This violation was observed on or about December 27, 2018, where the employees were required to use automotive lifts that have the potential to fall under the weight of an automobile due to: a) In car bay 1 locks not setting; b) In car bay 2 cables not being adjusted evenly; c) In car bay 3 cylinders leaking hydraulic fluid; cables in need of repair; and locks not setting; and d) In car bay 4 locks not setting, and at least one bolt missing.
