29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: On or about December 28, 2017, at the location 310 Ashley Lane, Sunnyvale, TX, employees were using 16-feet extension ladders and 24-feet extension that did not extend 3-feeet above the landing of the roof and exposing employees to a fall hazard. (a) At least one (1) 16-feet Werner extension ladder was located at the front of the house. (b) At least two (2) 16-feet Werner extension ladder was located at the side of the house. ( c) At least one (1) 24-feet Werner extension ladder was located at the back side of the house.
