29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: (a) On or about January 10, 2018, and at times prior, Paramount Enterprises LLC dba Paramount Roofing and Gutters, as controlling employer, did not ensure that workers of Castle Roofing LLC, subcontractor, and Jose Perez Roofing, subcontractor, were safe while performing roofing activities with pneumatic nail guns, and working adjacent to the pneumatic nail guns, in that they were not wearing safety glasses and were exposed to eye injuries from kickback, misfire, and flying debris.
