29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: (a) On or about January 10, 2018, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that compressed air used for cleaning purposes was reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.. Employees cleaning and drying tools/parts were exposed to air injection hazards in that a compressed air nozzle located by auto lift #2 was observed with a tip that allowed 113 PSI air pressure. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: (a) On or about January 10, 2018, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that flexible cords and cables were connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. Employees were exposed to contact with electrical hazards in that a LANDA SEA 4-2000 pressure washer located in the detailing area was observed with signs of strain at the plug. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
