29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. On or about Dec. 15, 2017, located at a residential structure, an employee at ground level was exposed to struck-by hazards from waste roofing shingles being thrown off a roof eave greater than 23 feet above the ground below.
