29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. a. On or about January 12, 2018, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee working in a JLG 600S telescopic boom aerial lift was not properly attached to the boom or basket by the use of a lanyard, thereby exposing the employee to the hazards associated with a fall of approximately nine (9) feet. There is no abatement certification of documentation required for this item.
