Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about January 11th, 2017, at the above addressed job site, an employee was not protected from an approximate 10-foot fall hazard while washing windows of a newly constructed residential structure.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a. On or about January, 11th 2017, at the above addressed job site, the employer did not provide fall hazard recognition training to an employee who was working from a roof, and was exposed to a 10-feet fall hazard while in the process of washing windows.
