29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:    (a) Warehouse, near non working dock door - On January 17, 2018, the employer did not ensure that exit routes were kept free and unobstructed. Equipment such as dollies and pallets containing product were stored on the floor obstructing the exit route.     (b) Warehouse, leading to dock area  - On January 17, 2018, the employer did not ensure that an exit door was kept unobstructed. A pallet of material was staged in front of the exit door preventing it from being opened from the inside of the warehouse.       In accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete and must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase, or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.

29 CFR 1910.176(a): Where mechanical handling equipment is used, sufficient safe clearances were not provided in aisle ways.  Aisles and passageways were not kept clear with no obstructions across or in aisles creating a hazard.    (a) Warehouse - On January 17, 2018, the employer did not ensure that powered industrial vehicles were provided with sufficient safe clearances for operation. Aisles were obstructed by pallets of material stored on the floor.     In accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete and must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase, or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
