29 CFR 1926.652(d)(2): Manufactured materials and equipment used for protective systems were not used and maintained in a manner that was consistent with the recommendations of the manufacturer: a) On January 18, 2018, the two stacked trench box's that were provided by the employer for employee use were missing six of the pins used to secure the position of the horizontal cross braces. b) On January 18, 2018, the employer provided two trench boxes that were stacked on top of each other that did not have two of the retention pins installed to restrict lateral movement.
