29 CFR 1910.29(f)(4): An opening in a stair rail system exceeded 19 inches at its least dimension: a) Redi-Mix Plant: On or about January 17, 2018, and at times prior, workers were exposed to fall hazards at the stair to the bulk liquid storage area in that a mid-rail was missing from the protective railing on a stair ascending 11 feet, 5.25 inches above ground level. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
