Location: 611 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY. 8th Floor, 58th Street Side. a) Accumulation of partitions and materials such as wood, aluminum display racks and planks were stored in an aisle adjacent to the elevators. An employee was waiting to access the elevators on the 8th floor, when the materials collapsed and fell over her. On or about 12/27/2017.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: Location: 611 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY. 8th Floor, 58th Street Side. a) The emergency exit route leading from the eighth floor to the seventh floor was blocked by merchandise, not limited to display aluminum display racks, two brown boxes of bathroom tissues, a wheel chair and other materials. On or about 01/26/2018. Saks Fifth Avenue was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 941856, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/20/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 611 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10022.
