29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): Walking-working surfaces were not maintained in a safe condition. a) Maverick Transportation LLC, 50 Forge Avenue, Geneva, NY, on or about 1/26/18: In the Shipping Department, walking-working surfaces were not maintained in safe condition in that, wooden platforms, used along side of trailers during loading and securement activities, were not uniform and presented trip and fall hazards to employees. b) Maverick Transportation LLC, 50 Forge Avenue, Geneva, NY, on or about 1/26/18: In the Shipping Department, Bay 1, walking-working surfaces were not maintained in safe condition in that, foam blocks, used along side of trailers during loading and securement activities, were not secured or anchored to prevent them from sliding when employees stepped on them.
