29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: On or about 1/25/2018, the employer did not develop a written hazard communication program when employees were working with hazardous chemicals, including but not limited to, acetone and mineral spirits. All provisions of 29 CFR 1910.1200(e) through (h) must be covered in a written hazard communication program. Key elements include, but are not limited to the following: 1) Chemical inventory list 2) Safety Data Sheets (SDS) 3) Labeling of containers 4) Employee information and training Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

Employees working in the production area worked with hazardous chemicals, including but not limited to, acetone, mineral spirits, and EasiSolv 110 Solvent Cleaner containing naphtha. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
