OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard due to a damaged safety latch on a hook.     a) Reticulator Department: Employees were using a Chester electric chain hoist, rated at 3/4 tons, with a damaged safety latch installed on the hook, to lift foam buns. The employer failed to install a safety latch on the hook as per ANSI B30.16-2017, Section 16-1.2.9 (hooks), thereby exposing employees to a struck by hazard, on or about 1/29/18.
