29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use.  *A suitable eye wash must meet the minimum criteria as defined by ANSI/ISEA Z358.1.    a) In the facility kitchen: The employer did not ensure that employees working with the caustic solution, sodium hydroxide, had a suitable eye wash station available for use, thus exposing them to corrosive chemical hazards.    This condition was observed/noted on/about 31 JAN 2018.

29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employees must be able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. A device such as a panic bar that locks only from the outside is permitted on exit discharge doors:  a) Rear exit in Facility: The employer did not ensure that exit doors used to evacuate the area in the event of an emergency remained unlocked. This condition prevented safe egress in the event of a fire.  This condition was observed on/about 31 JAN 2018.

Bags of rock salt, shovels, a salt spreader, and boxes are blocking the exit route at the rear of the facility near the restrooms.  Condition observed on/about 31 JAN 2018.
