29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tank cars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6:  a) Warehouse Area - On or about January 31, 2018 compressed gas cylinders containing nitrogen and argon were not secured to prevent them from falling.  b) Warehouse Area - On or about January 31, 2018 compressed gas cylinders containing nitrogen and argon were not protected from being struck by forklifts moving pallets within the warehouse area.  ABATEMENT NOTE:  Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is: Comply with the Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, National Fire Protection Association NFPA-55, and local government ordinances to ensure compressed gas cylinders are properly stored and protected.

Additional methods and equipment may include static bonding and grounding methods and the wearing of anti-static clothing, overalls, boots, gloves, or static dissipative flooring and footwear.
