29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer did not establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided by 29 CFR 1910.95(g) by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels: Annual hearing tests were not provided to employees exposed to noise levels exceeding the action level of 85 decibels. (Note: a baseline audiograms must be provided within six months of an employee being assigned to a job where the exposure exists. A one year time period may be provided if a mobile testing van is used for the testing. During the time before a baseline audiogram is provided, hearing protection is mandatory.) Abatement documentation is required for this violation.
