29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): All traffic control signs or devices used for protection of construction workers did not conform to Part VI of the MUTCD, 2013 ed. Part VI of the MUTCD, Millennium Edition, incorporated by reference in Sec. 1926.6.: JOBSITE: The elevated basket of a vehicle mounted aerial lift from which an employee was rewiring traffic lights was not protected from being struck by vehicular traffic by placing and utilizing the traffic control devices appropriately and adequately, and/or utilizing other safe means so that the working area was completely encompassed and the elevated and extended basket of the aerial lift was not in buffer space of the temporary traffic control zone. On or about 02/06/2018, the elevated and extended basket was struck by a concrete mixer truck while the employee was performing the "task" from the basket.
