(a) On your about January 31, 2018, the employer did not establish an energy control program consisting of energy control procedures, employee training, and periodic inspections to ensure employees performing service and maintenance on a Morbark M18R wood chipper, were protected from unexpected energization, startup, or release of stored energy. Machines and equipment used by the company are powered by electric, pneumatic and hydraulic power. (b) On or about January 31, 2018, the employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain a written hazard communication program for employees working with chemicals such as, gasoline, oils, grease, herbicides, and other chemicals commonly used in tree trimming and landscaping. (c) On or about January 31, 2018, the employer did not ensure hazardous communication training was conducted with all employees working with chemicals such as, gasoline, oils, grease, herbicides, and other chemicals commonly used in tree trimming and landscaping.
