OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck-by private own vehicles in the work zone area: a. On or about February 12, 2018, at the above addressed work site, the employer did not develop a temporary traffic control plan when work was being conducted on the roadway. b. On or about February 12, 2018, at the above addressed work site, an employee was exposed to the hazard of being struck-by private owned vehicles that traveled on the same road which the employee was cleaning the road without wearing a high visibility traffic vest. PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
