29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Employees of Gim construction working on the south side awning were exposed to fall hazards of while performing decking operations at a height over 6 feet without fall protection. Miller Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 997242, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on February 13, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1415 Buddy Holly Ave Lubbock, TX.
