29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(3)(i): Before the employer permitted their own employees to perform work subject to this standard in areas containing asbestos-containing material (ACM) and presumed asbestos-containing material (PACM), the employer did not identify the presence, location and quantity of ACM and/or PACM therein pursuant to 29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(1): a) The Bank, Pipe Chase on the 6th, 7th, and 8th Floors: Employees performed HVAC construction activities in a pipe chase that contained non-intact asbestos pipe insulation, and the employer failed to identify the presence, location, and quantity of ACM/PACM in the work area, as discovered on or about 02/16/2018. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
