29 CFR 1910.110(e)(2)(iv): LP-Gas fueled industrial trucks did not comply with the Standard for Type Designations, Areas of Use, Maintenance and Operation of Powered Industrial Trucks, NFPA 505-1969, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6: Reference: NFPA Standard for Type Designations, Areas of Use, Maintenance and Operations of Powered Industrial Trucks, No. 505-1969, Part C, 602(i): Removable LP-Gas containers shall not be exchanged and LP-Gas powered vehicles shall not be parked near sources of heat, open flames, or similar sources of ignition, nor near open pits, underground entrances, elevator shafts or other similar areas unless such areas are adequately ventilated to prevent dangerous accumulations of LP-Gas: On or about February 15, 2018, employees were exposed to injuries from ignitable accumulations of LP-gas when starting powered industrial trucks that were allowed to be parked and stored in unventilated trailers.

29 CFR 1910.178(f)(2): The storage and handling of liquefied petroleum gas fuel was not in accordance with NFPA Storage and Handling of Liquefied Petroleum Gases (NFPA No. 58-1969), which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6: Reference: NFPA No. 58-1969, Division IV, 4.1(d): LP-Gas fueled industrial trucks shall comply with the Standard for Type Designations, Areas of Use, Maintenance and Operations of Powered Industrial Trucks, NFPA No. 505.
