The employees were exposed to a fall of up to 35 feet.      NOTE: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:    location: exterior of house  on or about: 2/21/18    a) Employees were gaining access to and from the multi level roof using ladders. One of the ladders extended only 1 foot above the roof.      location: exterior of house  on or about: 2/21/18    b) Employees were gaining access to and from the multi level roof using ladders.
