29 CFR 1926.451(g)(3)(i): Verical lifelines were not fastened to a fixed safe point of anchorage, independent of the scaffoldk, and protected from sharp edges and abrasion. (a) Burly Building - On or about 2/21/18, the employer attached a vertical lifeline to a standpipe and fixed ladder, exposing employees to fall hazards. (b) Burly Building - On or about 2/21/18, the employer did not protect vertical lifelines from abrasion where they crossed the peak and edge of a metal roof, exposing employees to fall hazards.
