29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) Building 100, Lower roof on west side: On or about 02/22/2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 14-feet, 6-inches on a 6/12 pitched roof, in that personal fall arrest systems were not connected to a life-line or anchor point while engaged in metal roof activities.
