29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: Main Office Area: On or about 02/21/2018, a Utiltech re-locatable power tap, designed and listed for being used with high concentrations of low powered loads was instead used with high powered loads such as, a Oster Microwave and a Magic Chef mini refrigerator. Notice Citation #001, Item 001, 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2) as required by 29 CFR 1960.8(b): Employees were exposed to fire and electrical hazards where equipment such as, but not limited to coffee pots, toaster ovens, floor heaters and melt furnaces was plugged into re-locatable power taps. The employer was cited for a violation of the same standard on 03/10/2017, Inspection #1214195, with respect to a workplace in Olympia, Washington, which became a final order on April 05, 2017.
