OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: (a) On or about February 20, 2018 and times prior thereto in the shipping and receiving dock area; employees were exposed to struck-by hazard by manually lifting a Power Ramp LMP-Series dock leveling platform by standing in the yard and facing the dock leveler while an Ottawa Terminal Tractor backed a trailer into the loading dock.
