On or about February 15, 2018 Employees working inside the elevator shaft had suspended a home made temporary lighting system from a sheet rock screw affixed to the side wall of the shaft on the third floor and draped the wires down the shaft to the first floor. At each light socket spliced to the wire a sheetrock screw affixed the wires to the wall.
