Employees were performing grinding of the cement floors in an enclosed area; the employer did not ensure means of exhaust to minimize the accumulation visible of dust. The condition was noted at or around 02/26/2018.    NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.

Employees were performing grinding of the cement floors in an enclosed area; the employer did not fully and properly implement engineering controls, such as, additional means of exhaust to minimize the accumulation of visible dust. The employer did not asses the exposure of the employees as required in paragraph (d) of the standard.  The condition was noted at or around 02/26/2018.        NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
